Description:Description from The Vendor: This Morris Minor has been family owned for over 50 years and has largely benefitted from a full nut and bolt restoration to concourse level. The car is period correct with the addition of an unleaded head. Finished in it’s original Clarendon Grey with correctly coloured wheels and grille, topped of with a full red leather interior. Restoration started formally in 1966 but left unfinished for over 20 years and completed last year. Full comprehensive record of restoration togther with every receipt dating back 25 years and also the original buff log book are included in the car expansive history file, meanwhile the car is still on it’s origianl plates.
Auctioneer’s notes: I am at a loss for words to describe this ’57 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller. I have never used the word concourse to describe the condition of any car, but I am sorely tempted now. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING !. Please come and view, strictly by appointment. |
