On the Surface: This is a 1986 NG TA kit car which is finished in blue. Designed by Nick Green to pay homage to the 1930’s Aston Martin’s. This roadster has a 2+2 configuration therefore designed to carry 4 people, however, the rear seats maybe better suited for younger/smaller passengers. Maintenance & History: This NG stands in a very original and honest condition, yet appears to be very usable, backed by a current MOT certificate valid until January 10, 2025. The history file on this car does not offer much to flick through, however, it does hold the current MOT certificate, wiring information and a disc witholding build photos, build manuals, an ECU manual and other build information. The Model: Whilst designed to look like a 1930’s Aston Martin the NG TA’s are usually equipped with MGB running gear, however, this example is powered by a more modern and probably more powerful 2 litre Ford block with a 5 speed manual transmission. NG cars were originally designed in 1979 with the TA being the first kit released. Since then over a thousand units have been crafted to date.
