Panther’s retro‑styled Kallista was a development of its Lima two‑seater roadster, albeit with aluminum bodywork and Ford mechanicals in place of the previous Vauxhall engines and suspension. This 1985 White example was built by the Panther Westwinds factory at Weybridge and features a Ford ‘Cologne’ 2792cc V6 fuel-injected engine. The performance of this model is good with 0 – 60mph rated at 7.7 seconds. With a 5 speed gearbox, the car is quick off the mark and cruises competently. Although not warranted the car shows 65,000 miles and four former owners. The current owner purchased the car 13 years ago from a Panther enthusiast and is only selling due to purchasing an automatic Kallista. Believed to be one of just 128 built, of which just 14 of these models are reputedly left in the UK. The car has a new MoT (valid till 28/09/2022) and has proved itself to be reliable. Servicing has been undertaken by the current owner and Son in Law Mechanic.

With Ford engine and running gear spares if needed are readily available and the Panther mark is well supported by the Panther Car Club and Bruno’s spares (a former Panther employee).

This is a stunning example of a Panther Kallista – what  good fun car these cars are –   see Appendix 1 for a technical write up, as the vendor said, he has owned her since 2008 and she comes with a DVLA

fee-paying enquiry for a list of previous owners (not allowed today, more is the pity).  She has had 4 owners in total and that Cologne engine 2.8lit V6 produces in excess of 135 BHP.  There is a photocopy of the Owners Handbook, MOT’s back to ’98 and a Gov. MOT History.  There is an old V5 and Invoices from 2008 – 2020. You will also find spare keys and wheel locking nut.  This great car can be viewed, strictly by appointment.
