Description:Description from The Vendor: We acquired the car in 1998 from a friend who sadly passed away becoming only the third ever owner of the car. Before his passing he rebuilt the engine, even correcting the workshop manual. The car comes with bills amounting to over £10,000. The car has been maintained well and has been in full working order for 23 years.
Auctioneer’s notes: I have been banging on about the good value these 944’s are at the moment. They are beginning, as I suspected, to increase in value. This car has been in the family for 23 years. She comes with an MOT, expiring on 28th February 2022, a good, recent invoice file from 2008 to the present day. In the file you will find an invoice, dated 2012, for a reconditioned gear box and torque converter. The invoice was for £1689.68. The invoices indicate that she has been well looked after in recent years. She is a great car to use as is, but to be critical the paint finish could be better. She comes with stacks of maintenance books to keep you happily reading throughout the winter. May be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
