Description:This Railton was exported to Northern Rhodesia when new. In the 60’s it has extensive bodywork done in Southern Africa including later trim and dials. The current owner and vendor bought the car in 1988 after it had been stored for several years in Guernsey. The car has since been garaged. As far as the vendor is aware, the engine/ gearbox/ chassis all seem original items. We have also been told that they did get the car running in the 80’s but the exhaust manifold was shot so they didn’t proceed any further with it. Comes with a file containing some photographs of the car, various articles and booklets and some shipping information. Being sold as a non runner, not registered in the UK and does not have any registration documentation. |
