Description:For a short video of the vehicle running please click here This early Scimitar may look a bit of a state but it’s actually a very sound car. It had stood for some time unused until 2013, when it was sent to ‘Iain Daniels classic motorsport’ to be prepared to go back on the road with a clean MOT. £5340.80 later it was ready to use. The invoice for this work is in the file and itemises the mechanical refurbishment. Used regularly but sparingly it has only covered 8,000 miles since then, and in that time has had a new clutch and electronic ignition. Regularly MOTd up until last year and now MOT and tax exempt. With a sound chassis, this early GTE should make a great rolling restoration. A good clean, a new vinyl roof, a new carpet set and a tidy up inside would see it well on the way to looking great again! As you can see from the video the car did run when it arrived on site in July and the vendor tells us the overdrive has been working. Sold as a restoration project. Please note as this car has been with us a few months it now will not start. |
