Original hide interior with mahogany window and dash trims with burr walnut veneers. The body was restored by Riley specialist David Brown in Manchester around 21 years ago totalling £12,000. The engine was replaced in 2018 with an identical rebuilt one at a cost in excess of £6000. The vendor carried out the running in procedure as recommended by Riley cars in the 50’s then took it to France for a 1500 mile holiday during which time it ran perfectly without trouble. The vendor has made a few sensible changes including electronic ignition and thermostatic radiator fan with manual over ride (all changes are reversible in case you are a purist!). |
