1962 | Rover | 95 | 11,102 (Not Warranted) | ££5500 + buyers premium | |
Description:Description from The Vendor: A stunning example of a 1962 Rover 95 with the original transferable plate. Thousands of pounds spent on restoration and it has been completed to a high standard. Photos of restoration included in the history file. All parts on the car have been serviced or replaced.
Auctioneer’s notes: This truly outstanding Rover 95 will be 60 years young next year. The interior matches the bodywork, which is excellent, and you will find that the leather upholstery – carpets etc – are in that league as well. There is a very clever disguise of the radio, see pictures online. These cars are well able to cope with modern Motorway traffic. There is over 100 BHP under the bonnet. HAVE YOU NOTED THE REGISTRATION NUMBER 817RU. Surely this must be worth £2,500 – £3,000 or possibly more! In the folder, you will find old MOTs, lots of technical pamphlets about the P6’s from 1948 – 1964. You also have an instruction book, not forgetting the last tax disc. May be viewed, strictly by appointment. Please note: There is no overdrive on the Rover as incorrectly stated before |
