Description:Description from The Vendor: This Rover Mini Mayfair was bought new in 1993 and delivered to my cousin in Jersey, Channel Islands. She used the car for about five years, and when she was no longer able to drive my mother imported the car to England in 1998 and registered it with age correct UK reg. My mother used the car until 2012, when it was SORNed and garage stored. The low mileage can be verified on the import documentation provided and the UK MoT history I acquired the car in 2017 and it remained in storage SORNed until late 2021, when I recommissioned it for an MoT. The car now has an MoT until 7/10/2022. The work done included
The car comes with all original paperwork from delivery new in 1983. The car was specified with full Connolly leather upholstery and as always been kept in dry brick garages. While in use the car was regularly serviced by local garages. The paintwork has defects around the windscreen wiper arm scuttle, possible due to over energetic polishing, and is original in all other aspects apart from the mag wheels and rocker box cover.
Auctioneer’s notes: This is a remarkable car having only covered 12,500 miles in 29 years. She has belonged to the same family all her life. She was originally registered in Jersey in 1993 and brought back to the UK in 1998. She comes with a book pack which includes the service book with 11 stamps plus invoices and a Gov. MOT history.
