Description:Auctioneers notes: Sadly, this beautiful car has only come to market due to bereavement of the owner. He purchased the vehicle in 2017 and lavished care and attention to bring it to the standard he wanted to enjoy. The car was fully restored and paintwork taken back to the bare metal in 2016. There is a complete photo record of the re-build. We do not have early invoices but from 2017 there are numerous invoices including one in March ’18 for £2375 which included a gearbox and O/D reconditioning, which also included a new clutch and a refaced flywheel and another invoice in 2018 for 5 new chrome wire wheels. The history box contains a great number of restoration books and manuals including Sunbeam workshop manual and a dozen or more Sunbeam Club magazines. We are told that the vehicle was stored for 28 years prior to its restoration. This truly beautiful car has all the right “bits” – hard top, overdrive, chrome wire wheels, tonneau cover.
