Description:

Description from The Vendor:

I have owned this lovely Stag for eleven years, it starts on the button every time, has never overheated and has the original 3 litre engine with a manual gearbox and overdrive. It was was extensively rebuilt in 1990 and was also given a respray in Seychelle Blue which is a colour from Rolls Royce. The history file is huge and it includes photos, the heritage certificate, and loads of invoices and MOT certs.

Auctioneer’s notes:

What a pleasure it is to offer this good example of the ever popular Triumph Stag at our next Classic Auction on 29th October.  The history file is immense, it will keep you reading for hours, it has everything from a hand-written log, DVLA report on previous owners (no longer allowed today!).  The previous owner to the vendor carried out the restoration in 1989 – 1990 and you have photos of the restoration and, incidentally, the engine had a complete rebuild.  There are many interesting bits and pieces in the file including a BMIHT Certificate showing that she is a genuine UK car, old tax discs and MOT’s that go back to 1986, which tells us that the car has only covered 33,832 miles in the last 35 years.  Incidentally, the vendor has been the custodian of this lovely car for the last 11 years and there are 4 previous owners.  A great opportunity to own an iconic British sportscar and you may rest assured that she has been maintained without regard to cost.  May be viewed, strictly by appointment.
