Triumph Stag Auto 1975

Auctioneers notes: The vendor acquired this striking Stag, which is fitted with the correct engine, on the 10^th of March 2017.  Purely, the lack of use brings her to the market.  There is no history before 1984 and then the history is in two parts – from 1984 when the mileage was 50,841 to 1995 mileage 103,286.  Fast forward to 2016, mileage 105,084 to 2018, mileage 106,172.  So it does it appear that she has been laid up between ’95 and 2016.  Interestingly, in the early history there are a number of invoices, one dated 16^th November ’87, mileage 72,592 for a complete re-trim and mechanical work, Invoice for £1189.75.  Another, dated 19.3.’90, mileage 89,493 for a complete overhaul of both cylinder heads, which included new valves, refacing the heads etc. invoice for £1195 plus others.  She is a very sound car with an MOT to September next year, and she appears to have only covered, in 34 years, 56,000 odd miles.  Please view this car, can be seen as from now, by appointment.
