Triumph TR6 1970

Description:

This Triumph TR6 was last on the road in 1990, the MOT for that year shows the mileage as 43,707. The then owner gave the car to a man in Rotherwick who was going to put it back on the road, after a few years he told that it could not be completed due to ill health. During the years it was worked on the engine was sent off to a specialist and rebuilt, during that time it was converted to run on unleaded. When the car was delivered back to the owner the bonnet release cable had snapped so the engine has not been inspected since. The vehicle was recently sold to the owner’s brother who decided to send it to a garage in Southampton where the he then decided that a restoration cost was not affordable for him and so the car was consequently sent to us.
The history file includes invoices and MOTs from 1978 when the mileage was 15,297, 1981 at 16,248,  1982 at 20,007, 1983 at 24,906, 1984 at 29,166, 1985 at 36,783, 1986 at 39,690, 1988 at 43,658 and 1990 at 43,707.  The vehicle was then put into storage and the mileage is now 44,235.

Sold as a non running restoration project.
