Description:Description from The Vendor: The Tasmin has had new brake pipes all around the car, new brake calipers, new fuel hoses, and a reconditioned radiator as well as the outriggers being replaced and the addition of power steering. The chassis was repainted in 2020.
Auctioneer’s notes: This TVR 350i, without doubt, is OUTSTANDING. The history file is an A4 folder which is 4″ thick. It has every invoice from 1987, mileage 24,695 to 2020 mileage 83,673. This shows that this lovely car has been well looked after by all the owners, it is quite amazing. When I looked through the history file I noted that she was re-trimmed in leather in 2007 at a cost of £1200 and I noted that she has a stainless steel exhaust system costing £753 and to add to this documentation, she has a MOT history from 1987 to 2020 plus a DVLA GOV. MOT printout and also supplied by the DVLA is a list of all the previous owners. There is another box containing the original Driver’s Handbook plus 3 other Manuals for maintenance and a spare set of keys. Mileage, is it warranted? We do have all the invoices from 1987, many of them will have the mileage on them, plus the MOT’s from 1987 onwards. However, we do not have any history for the first 3 years. I leave it to you to decide what you think about that but I feel the mileage could be correct. For the technically minded, she has 190 BHP on tap, 0 – 60 6.3 seconds, top speed 130. This remarkable car may be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
