On the Surface: This is an exceptionally rare 1989 Vauxhall Nova GTE. A remarkable find, this example is finished in White paired with a grey cloth interior. With just 46 Nova GTEs still registered on UK roads today, it’s a highly sought-after example of Vauxhall’s iconic hot hatch. Maintenance & History: Having had just three owners since new, this Nova GTE has been with The Vendor since 2016. The model was introduced to the UK in 1983 and produced until 1993, with nearly half a million units sold in Britain. The GTE variant, launched at the 1987 Frankfurt Motor Show, features a 1.6L multi-point fuel-injected engine producing 99 BHP, capable of achieving 116 mph. This example represents a pre-facelift GTE, making it even more desirable among enthusiasts. The car boasts a comprehensive history, including MOT certificates spanning back to 2003 and a current MOT valid until June 2025. Its original book pack is complete with all manuals, plus a ‘Maintenance Programme’ documenting 7 service stamps from 1990 to 1997. The accompanying file also includes invoices totaling nearly £3,500. The Model: The Vauxhall Nova was built exclusively for the UK market as a successor to the Chevette.
