The first owner returned to the UK in 1974 and the car was registered under the reg number YPR516N. The car has lived in Weymouth, Dorset for over 40 years and all the owners knew each other. Mr Gutterudge, a local farm owner ran the car for over 30 years and upon his death in 2017 it was passed to his widow who in turn passed the car to a Mr Morley who lived in one of the farm cottages. During the ownership of Mr Gutteridge the car was maintained by a local VW specialist and invoiced amounting to over £7000 are in the history file. The car has a very good floorpan and was driven to the auction from Weymouth without any issues. |
