Description:Description from The Vendor: The VW Beetle Pick-up has a VW type 3 1600cc engine, the bottom half was rebuilt in 2012. New twin carbs were fitted in 2015 along with new pistons and also MegaBug rear adjustable coil over shocks. A full service was carried out on the car in 2020. Some features of the car include chrome wheels, stainless running boards, an external visor, a roof chop with glass cut to size (Not perspex) and whitewall tyres. The Beetle is a show truck and also a useful carrier.
Auctioneer’s notes: Oh! WHAT FUN! It must have cost a fortune to create. Not only the shell has been customised but the mechanics have been extensively upgraded. The file has the original service book with quite a number of stamps plus invoices. She really is in superb condition and may be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
