1972 Volkswagen Camper TBC £12,950 - 13,975

Description:

This superb VW bay window tin top camper was registered in 1972, she was imported from California LHD (great for touring the continent) hence no rust. This year is known as the “cross-over model” i.e. the front head lights are of the old model and the rear lights are of the new model. The vendor has owned this car since 2010 and the quality of the paintwork is second to none. She is fitted with a re-conditioned 1600 cc engine which has covered less than 6000 miles. The interior boasts a 2-burner cooker, sink, space for a fridge, but most importantly ¾ rock & roll bed. The tyres have covered less than 1600 miles and she has always been regularly serviced while in the vendor’s hands. There is a substantial file with the car whilst in his ownership. Please note, she is MOT exempt but has a current MOT until January 2020.

Auctioneers Notes: Lots of nice original features such as the front seats, wooden ply roof lining, original dash board and steering wheel and opening, louvered windows on each side plus a stainless steel roof rack which is an exact copy of the original VW. This is a stunning looking camper van, and may be viewed by appointment.
