I bought the car in 2015 as a summer toy because I wanted a MK1 Golf as my 1st car in 1991 but ended up with a MK1 Fiesta. The car is much loved and I am sad to have to let it go but separation forces the sale. The car has been garaged for 11 years, 4 of which by the previous owner and the last 2.5 years she has been garaged and unused. She comes with an Alpine flip front stereo,  a nice black cover for when the roof is down and the roof itself is Mohair. (This was locked in the glove box and can’t be seen on the YouTube video so might need a mention).I drove her down from Derby to Poole. She starts first time and went straight through the MOT. Please bear in mind I and the previous owner always used super unleaded petrol. She is a real head-turner, you don’t see many about anymore and people like to have a closer look or give you a thumbs up whilst driving and often say “I used to have one” or “my dad owned one”. Or “I always wanted one”.

Auctioneer’s notes:

These cars were King of the Hot Hatches in their day.  They still give respectable performance figures, top speed of 116 MPH and very brisk acceleration.  The lady vendor has owned this great car for 7 years and in the file, you will find every MOT from 1997 to the present day, various invoices plus a book pack containing a service book with 6 stamps, spare keys.  Put the service history together with the MOT history which proves the mileage is correct.  This great example may be viewed strictly by appointment.
