This car was purchased new by the vendor’s Father-in-law and it was passed to him in 2006 when he became ill. The vendor has been using it as a classic car ever since rather than as a “daily”. It has covered very low miles annually as an average. It has always been garaged and very well kept. Since 2006 it has been serviced and maintained by the vendor or his local classic car garage.
MOT expires September 2018 – 1 advisory – slight leak from back box of exhaust. Now sorted out with the fitment of a new clamp and rubber.
Extremely good externally. Paintwork in fine order apart from a small patch on the roofline where it was polished through to the primer accidentally by a valet company with an automatic polisher! All door shuts and seams are 100% rust free. No rust on the wheel arches, sills etc. Internally and externally it is totally original and in extremely good condition. It still has the original over mats and radio. It has never been smoked in or carried a dog and rarely have the rear seats been used or the load bay for that matter. It won “Best in Class” at the “Volvo sport UK” club meeting at Beaulieu 2016. (Document attached) Always garaged and rarely has it seen rain.
This Volvo has been in the vendor’s family from new and is a very treasured car, all handbooks, manuals, dealer literature, MOT’s, most tax discs etc are present and in perfect condition and will be supplied with the car along with many invoices, two fully completed service books and even the original radio manual etc. Two sets of original keys in good order.

Auctioneers notes: It is rare to find an estate car which has had one family owner from new and in such excellent condition for year and such low mileage. We expect the car will well exceed the top estimate and this is one to come and view.
