I purchased my Wolseley in August 2011 and have owned the car for 10 years. The V5C records 8 previous owners. The history file provides 26 MOT certificates dating back to September 1980. Service and repair documentation and purchase receipts date back to 1999. The Wolseley was purchased by myself from the previous owner who lives in Devon. The mechanic who accompanied me advised that overall the 6/110 was in fairly good condition but did require work. The work undertaken by RM Vehicles Services is fully documented in the history file and this includes mechanical and bodywork repairs. Whilst the work was being undertaken the front and rear bumpers were removed and taken by myself to a chrome restoration specialist. I was extremely pleased with the work undertaken by RM Vehicle Services which was to a high standard.

The Wolseley is a lovely car to drive and is much admired at classic car events and shows.

It is with regret, that owing to the loss of two garages due to the land they were on being re-developed and the limited amount the car is driven (3,000 miles in 10 years) I have decided to part with the Wolseley and hope that it’s new owner will gain as much enjoyment as I have from this lovely Farina.

A large printed display board accompanies the car for use at classic car shows.

Auctioneer’s notes:

The vendor has owned this fine example of a 6/110 for 11 years.  He has given a very comprehensive description and there is not a lot I can add.  She has the Drivers Handbook and Workshop Manual plus various invoices.  She is finished in Rose-Taupe with an excellent red leather interior and the woodwork, including the picnic tables, is first class.  May be viewed, strictly by appointment.
