On the Surface: A charming example of the iconic Yamaha FS1E-DX, affectionately known as the “Fizzy.” This 1989 model is finished in an eye-catching blue, showcasing the classic styling that made the FS1-E a favorite among moped enthusiasts.

Maintenance & History: The FS1E-DX doesn’t come with an extensive history, but it does include a handful of old MOT certificates. The bike has had 5 former keepers and has been cared for by its current owner for the past year.

The Model: First produced in the 1970s, the FS1 series has become a legend of a moped crazed era. The FS1-E was the UK-specific version, adapted to comply with local regulations, including a speed restriction of 31 mph for models registered from August 1977 onwards. Powered by a 49cc single-cylinder, two-stroke engine with a four-speed gearbox, approximately 200,000 units were sold in the UK.
