For Auction 30/10/15 – Austin Healey BN1 100/4 1955

By September 7, 2015News
Entered into our October 30th Classic car auction,  this Austin Healey 100/4 BN1 is on its way over from Perth, Australia.  Sold new to a Mr Robert G Foster of 27 Kennealy Street, Surrey Hills, Victoria, Australia on 21/07/1955 it was owned by him until he passed away in the mid 90’s. During his ownership he maintained and cared for this car in a way which is rarely seen and reflects the vehicles condition today. On Mr Foster’s demise, his wife retained the vehicle until 1998 when she sold it to a Mr Ian Stewart of Perth, Western Australia. The reasoning for this was she felt it was time to move on and to do this she preferred to sell the vehicle interstate as there would be less emotional attachment. Mr Stewart is a car collector who lived in South Perth Western Australia, where he kept the vehicle inside his garage and covered at all times and was rarely driven. In March 2015, the vendor purchased the vehicle from Mr Stewart and set about bringing the vehicle maintenance up to date.
