1961 Morris Minor 1000

By July 4, 2013 No Comments

The humble Morris Minor, loved by enthusiasts all over the world, designed by Alec Issigonis, with rack and pinion steering and torsion bar front suspension. They go well and what’s more they handle and stop well. This example is as good as it gets (outside concourse). She is off-white with red leather interior with special front seats. She stands proud with all the right gaps. The history file is very comprehensive. If you add all the invoices together they exceed £15,000 says the vendor. One invoice from “Minormiracles”in Devon is £6,260.35, plus you have all the old MOT’s, back to 1990. It really shows that this car has been loved and very well looked after. The vendor has offered the car to be sold in July, at what I think, is a very sensible reserve. By the way, she is the 4 door version, with the correct 1098cc engine and the original registration no. The current MOT is till June 14, with no advisories.

Condition: 1-2
