1978 Triumph Dolomite Sprint 2.0 16v 4 speed with overdrive on 3rd & 4th. This well sorted car presents in superb condition and retains its original specification. All controls and instruments are in working order. A pop-up sunroof is fitted along with electric aerial for the period radio and rear seat belts. A note on file from 2007 quotes a previous owner who stated that within the previous 12 months (i.e. 2006/2007) the car underwent a bare metal respray and that all panels and sills were original along with the vinyl roof and at the time there was with no filler anywhere. The five alloy wheels were diamond cut and refurbished and new Avon tyres were fitted. All chrome was refurbished including the door handles and wipers. Mechanically the head was overhauled with the valves reground and the timing chain and tensioners replaced. The gearbox and diff were overhauled; the propshaft had new bearings fitted while brakes including master cylinder were renewed. The clutch master and slave cylinders were replaced. A stainless exhaust is fitted along with braided brake hoses. The car was exported to Ireland in 2008 where it has gone on to cover 6000 miles in the hands of 2 enthusiast owners who displayed it regularly at local shows and stored it indoors ensuring the car was maintained in the current top condition. The car is currently registered in the Irish Republic. No VAT or duties are due on importation. We will provide NOVA certification and assist with re-registration in UK.
