This unique car was supplied by S.H Newsome and Co LTD of Coventry and registered to them on 23-04-64 hence the unusual registration number of 7575KV. The vendor purchased the car on 17th September 2004 and prior to that the car has had only 4 previous owners. The original jag service book wallet contains the original handbook maintenance chart, plus logbook, service book and sale service book. The history file is huge and includes 16 old MOTs and a photographic record of the cars restoration which started in 1986 when mileage reading 61,535 and took 10 years to complete. The car was taken out of the UK in and lived in France for a couple of years, returning in 1983. All engine numbers and chassis number match. The 3.8 series 1 are the most desirable of these wonderful cars, this car is not concours but is a very genuine example and we couldnt detect any rust. Finished in metallic blue with dove grey leather trim. To be critical, the front seats could do with a little TLC but there are no tears. The XK engine produces 265BHP giving a top speed of 150MPH. These early E Types are very hard to find. The engine has a 9 to 1 compression and it is fitted with a high axle ratio.
