Alfa Romeo Veloce Spider 1975.
The Vendor bought this original RHD UK registered Alfa Spider from Redline Peformance in Paphos Cyprus, who had restored it in 2009 and fitted a new Mohair Hood. He had the car shipped to Southampton on a RO RO ferry. The original registration was put back on the car. Although the engine had been worked on there was a carburettor fault, which damaged the engine. The vendor had the engine removed and completely rebuilt,and two new Weber DCO 40 Carbs fitted. The fuel tank was removed and cleaned and fuel lines replaced. The vendor has had various jobs done since then. Nearly all the work has been carried out by Autolosso, an Alfa Specialist in Ferndown and the Alfa comes with a MOT until June 11th 2016.There is a small crack in the Windscreen, which the vendor prefer to leave alone, but there is a spare one which comes with the car. Included with the car are lots of invoices detailing the work that has been done plus a gold PC memory stick showing pictures of the Restoration. This Alfa Spider S2 Kammtail has been a joy to own and use,and is in the lovely combination of Red with a black interior.
