Messerschmitt KR200 1961 entered into the January 30th Classic Car Auction.

The Messerschmitt KR200, or Kabinenroller (Cabin Scooter), was a three-wheeled bubble car designed by the aircraft engineer Fritz Fend and produced in the factory of the German aircraft manufacturer Messerschmitt from 1955 to 1964. The KR200 ran on a 191 cc (11.7 cu in) fan cooled single cylinder two-stroke engine positioned in front of the rear wheel which produced a maximum speed of 56mph!
This wonderful Messerschmitt cabriolet is fitted with a brand new hood. The car has covered a mere 6,000 miles since being subject to a total body off restoration (photos in file). Included in the sale is an original green continuation logbook, lots of old MOT’s, handbook, and a workshop manual.
