By July 4, 2014 No Comments

MG MGA Coupe 1957 entered into the July 25th Classic Car Auction.

Stunning condition throughout – as pristine underneath as it is on top. Winner Competitors Choice prize at the Irish National Concours competition October 2013. Believed to have spent its life in Ohio, apparently this car was subjected to a major rebuild in 2001. Comes with the following factory options: luggage rack & wing mirrors pack, heater, adjustable steering column, front badge bar, 5 wire wheels, oil cooler – all of which appear to have been replaced during the rebuild. Refinished in its original Mineral Blue livery, a large amount of money has obviously been lavished on new parts including all chrome work, tyres, brakes, steering and suspension components and floor boards. The interior also has been replaced with the exception of the rexine on the dash. All instruments and control cables appear to have been also been replaced. A stainless steel exhaust is fitted.
A Heritage Certificate in the History file states that the date of build was 17-18th September1957 which makes this car eligible for many events such as the Mille Miglia etc. L-H-D.
