MGC GT 1969 entered into July 25th Classic Car Auction
The vendor of this concours MGC GT has owned the car from January 1976. He purchased it from the first owner and the total mileage is just 32,400. These cars were fitted with a 2912cc – 6cy producing l45 bhp. Another difference to the MGB is that they were fitted with torsion bar front suspension with telescopic shock absorbers. Performance is good, top speed 120 mph, 0 – 16 in 10 seconds. These cars will become increasingly rare and they are considered already to be very collectable as they were only made between 1967 – 1969. History file has all the old MOT’s back to 1985 and a letter from the vendor supporting the providence of this fantastic car. Mechanically she is superb and has been maintained by the owner with ultimate care. She is finished in sandy beige with red leather trim, webasto sunroof and o.d. She is a unique car and is available for viewing by appointment.
