Lot No: 63
Year Make Model Mileage SOLD FOR
1988 Austin Maestro L 9500 (Warranted) £2268 + buyers premium

Description:

The Austin Maestro was introduced in 1983 as a replacement for the dated Maxi and Allegro. The car was well received by the press and in 1988, after careful consideration Stanley Hodge purchased his new Maestro from St Ives Motors, the local Rover garage.
This stunning one owner Maestro has covered a warranted mileage of just 9,500 miles from new and is utterly original in every way. The car has only come to market because the 92 year old owner, and only driver, has decided to stop driving. The car has been serviced every year, always garaged and is a genuine ‘time-warp’ example – you simply will not find a more original example of this extremely rare British icon. The bodywork, interior, engine bay, underside, body panels are remarkable and the car even retains its original tyres and a spare wheel that has never been fitted.
The history folder includes invoices and the original Handbook, stamped Service Book, Consumer Guide, Dealers Book and In-Car Entertainment books.
