Description:Description from The Vendor: Purchase by my Father Peter Homan in 1994 (07/04/1994). The car’s ownership was transferred to my Mother in 2012. The cambelt has been replaced 3 times over it’s life (1994, 2013, 2015). A new battery was installed last year as well as rear inner and outer sills being welded. Part of the exhaust was replaced in 2020 while also the front brake calipers and brake master cylinders were renewed as well as rust being cut out of the wings. Since 2013 the car has also had a new clutch, alternator and power steering bolts (2013), new nearside front ball joint and rear brake repairs (2016), new clutch slave cylinder (2017) and a new starter motor as well as the front wishbone bushes being replaced (2019). The car has had a full MOT and service history during the seller’s ownership.
Auctioneer’s notes: This good looking BMW has been owned by the family for the past 29 years and it has been well looked after by them during that time. Bills and Invoices are in the History File. That straight six 2.0i engine is renowned for its great smoothness and it produces 129 HP. Only 4595 were produced by Karosserie Baur and they are now well sought after.
