On the Surface: This is a good and honest example of a 1965 Jaguar S-Type. Finished in Dark British Racing Green over a green leather interior.

Maintenance & History: Under the ownership of The Vendor for the past 5 years, this S-Type has been part of The Vendor’s private collection of over 25 cars that are to be used in television programmes and films. This ‘Jag’ has recently been used on a film set of a well known upcoming movie that we unfortunatley cannot disclose. Included with the vehicle are a selection of invoices, alongside the essential V5 registration document.

The Model: The S-Type is a derivative of the iconic Mark 2 Jaguar and was sold alongside the Mark 2 and the Mark X until 1968. The S-Type features a mid-scale version of the Mark X’s independent rear suspension, which offered a more refined driving experience compared to its predecessor. These cars were offer with either a 3.4 or 3.8-liter XK engine with the example benefitting from the power of the 3.8. Combined, over 24,000 3.4 and 3.8 litre examples were produced but accoriding to howmanyleft.co.uk only 617 of them remain registered for use on UK roads.
