Description:Description from The Vendor: Total professional bare metal rebuild completed summer 2020. This fabulous example of the MGB Roadster is the sought after chrome bumper aluminium bonnet model, in tartan red with wire wheels. The rebuild was comprehensive, totally back to bare metal on all panels, floor, wheel arches etc. Engine out and total stripdown. All new items,- suspension, wiring loom, fuel tank, water radiator, oil radiator, springs, fuel lines, hydraulic lines, master cylinders, brake discs & callipers, clutch, fuel pump, electronic ignition, carpets, safety belts, dampers, headlamps, stainless steel exhaust, leather seats, tyres, door cards, top quality Mota Lita steering wheel, all new and much more. The hard top had a new rear window, it also has soft top and packaway frame and a new black full tonneau cover with red edging. There is a photographic record in a booklet with a list of all new parts and a large file of receipts. Apparently the original owner was a West Midlands MP who only used the car occasionally during visits home to Wales. He then laid the car up in the early 1980s until it was taken for the rebuild in 2019/2020. The 15,820 mileage cannot be guaranteed, but looks very likely correct. Registered historic so £0 road tax and MOT exempt. It was MODd after the rebuild which expired in August 2021. The only known faults are the windscreen has very slight delamination and the original rear bumper has slight pitting.
