This is my 1935 Pre-Series Morris 10/4 four door Fixed Head saloon. I have owned her since 2015. I bought her from an elderly relative who had laid her up in a barn for over six years. I spent two years restoring her to her former glory. She was used for my daughter’s wedding in 2017.

The car presents no rust but the body is in an “Oily rag” condition.

The engine is the original engine from when it was first built. It was owned by the same family from 1935 to 1966 in Penryn, Cornwall, and was driven once a week to Falmouth and back for shopping! I have traced most of her owners and it is all in the supplied documentation. I have also included the BMHT certificate of manufacture, invoices etc in the documentation. I do have many digital photos of my restoration of her that can be supplied separately.

The clutch and flexible universal joints have been replaced, the brakes have been overhauled. Some engine restoration has taken place with new core plugs being fitted, head gasket and studs replaced along with various other gaskets and seals. Starter and dynamo professionally overhauled. Gearbox professionally overhauled. Electronic fuel pump but the original is with the supplied spares. Stainless steel exhaust. Trafficators work but for safety reasons, I have fitted modern flashing indicators. However, these are easily removed, if required, as they are fixed with cable ties.

In the interior the door cards have been replaced but covered in the original material where possible. New carpets. Leather seats treated with conditioner but otherwise left as in good condition. I’m selling because I no longer get time to have fun with her on the road so it is time for someone else to enjoy her.
