Description:Auctioneer’s notes: Sadly, this car has come to Auction due to the passing of the owner,, who purchased this car on 20.3.18. It is interesting to note, that between 1961 and 1967 38,819 of this model were made, and it is thought that there are only 80 which are roadworthy. They have a turning circle like a London taxi of 25 ft. In the file you will find a Service Book with 2 stamps, a Handbook, old MOT’s and invoices and a Pitman’s “How to do it” for the owner driver, backed up by Haynes Owners Workshop Manual and you will note from the pictures that the back of the car is full of all sorts of bits and pieces, including a wood-rimmed steering wheel, aluminium locker box etc. etc. Plus, and this must be unique, a sixties style driver’s draught excluder. She is a lovely old car, excellent interior and very good body work. She may be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
