Description:Description from The Vendor: I purchased the vehicle on 24 June 2016 from a chap who lived near Alton and who had owned it since May 2012. Shortly after the purchase, he had the Stag re-sprayed in a Mercedes white (colour code details within paperwork provided). The colour has received many compliments and although not an original Triumph colour, in my opinion, I believe it sets off the lines of the Stag very well indeed. The previous owner lived nearby to a company called ‘Stag Classics’ whom, I believe, he used for most of the Stag’s servicing and repair work which included the fitting of a replacement engine in July 2015 (V5C has been updated). In my ownership, the Stag has always been garaged (as per the previous owner) and I’ve enjoyed many happy hours updating many items on the vehicle. A full list of receipts for items purchased and fitted are included in the paperwork provided and the items fitted include all new halogen headlamps, front and rear inertia belts, all-new rear brake shoes and cylinders, oil filter conversion to ‘spin-off, new oil pump, all new tail lamps and fittings, boot carpet and boot boards, new battery. I’ve enjoyed my ownership of the Stag but life and lack of time have got in the way of me enjoying it to the full. I regret not having taken the opportunity to have driven it more. I’ve always regarded the stag as a ‘rolling restoration’ as there is still much that could be improved upon. It gives much scope and interest for a new owner to enjoy. The sale of the Stag will include a box full of manuals and guides including an original Triumph ‘Repair operation Manual’. Also, a file of ‘Useful Information’, press articles etc. MOT certificates since 2008 are provided and a full list of receipts since my ownership began in 2016.
