Description:Description from The Vendor: The car has been well maintained and recently had money spent on it. Comes with receipts. It has always been garaged, dry storage through the pandemic, and recent local mileage only to the fuel station and the car wash. Very few miles, less than 50 miles in the last year. The interior is in good condition, the original leather has no rips or tears. the car drives well, she is comfortable and attracts attention from enthusiasts. It has been a pleasure to drive and will be sadly missed, as a result of a house move and the loss of a garage.
Auctioneer’s notes: This delightful car was registered on 28.7.1955. She carries the original registration number NBE 325. In the file you will find under Appendix 1 the invoice for £1459 carried out on 25.5.21. There are letters from the Vintage Austin Register Ltd. It is interesting to know that the De Luxe version of the Austin A 50 benefitted from a heater, leather seats, carpets, chrome bumper overriders and arm rests on the doors! In 2009 she came out from long-term storage and was recommissioned. The mileage at that time was 46842. ACE Classic Cars sold this car in 2012 and stated “there is no reason not to believe the mileage” – see appendix 2. This lovely 67 year old car is in very sound condition, both inside and out. I did note a little sign of rust was showing on the top of one rear wing. A great classic can be used as is and she may be viewed strictly by appointment and she is sold without reserve. |
