Description:Cherry Red Classic Mini 30-year anniversary edition of which it is believed there were only 2000 made. Manual gearbox and a choke, 998cc, original interior. Comes with original handbook. Two very careful lady owners – the vendor from Aug 2010 and the previous owner from 1997-2010. The vendor bought the car from Village Green Motors in Trowbridge who also serviced the car for the previous owner. The low mileage is due to the previous owner being elderly and rarely driving it (the reason for the sale to the vendor is that she became too old to drive) and the vendor has rarely driven it as she dislikes driving and avoid it wherever possible! Includes RAC Jump start pack. Auctioneers notes: This 28 year old mini thirty is a very original and solid car. The vendor has kept every bill since she bought it and she is adamant that the mileage is correct. However, we cannot endorse that due to the fact that the early history has gone missing. However, the MOT history from 2005 (mileage 25,307) shows how little this car has been used and Miss Cheeseman, (previous owner) a very elderly lady, purchased her in 1997 and, as stated, hardly ever drove her. |
