Auctioneers notes: This 1933 16 HP Austin Westminster Sports Saloon is outstanding. The vendor, who has owned her since 2009, has also entered a unique 1934 Caravan see lot 75 and a Ford Zephyr 6. They have only come to the market as his wife is not in good health so they are moving to a bungalow which means he no longer has sufficient storage. Sadly, the vehicles have to go. This Austin Westminster Sport is one of only 5 left and, incidentally, she still carries the original number plate TK 9930. Amongst her papers are old V5C’s, a current V5C and an old buff logbook, plus a collection of MOT’s, lots of articles on Austins including the Punch Magazine, dated 11.4.34 and Autocar dated 6.10.33 She really is stunning.
