Description:Description from The Vendor: This car was purchased by my Uncle as a project. Originally a Californian import, it has been converted to right-hand drive. Unfortunately, my Uncle’s health deteriorated and he passed away and therefore never had the chance to restore it as he wanted. This car has been stored in a heated garage and not driven in the rain. Auctioneer’s notes: Sadly, this is another bereavement sale. The nephew of the deceased is handling the disposal of this car and at the time of writing this, any of the paperwork, invoices etc. have not been found. He will keep looking for them and we live in hope. NB SHE IS BEING SOLD AS A PROJECT AT NO RESERVE because a fault has been found in the wiring loom and when the nephew fired it up he smelt burning. The engine was switched immediately off and the battery was disconnected. There appears to be no sign of any damage, but it is obvious that there is a short in the circuit. That said, she is a very good looking car and it appears that a great deal of money has been spent on her. She may be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
