The vendor purchased this bike in 1966 and put it on the road in 1974. Over the years it has undergone several restoration. The vendor tells us it is in good running order, the engine was replaced in 1974. There was no history prior to the vendors purchase although it still has the original buff logbook listing all owners from new.
Instructions to start from vendor: “To start it you need to open the fuel tap and tickle the carburettor and close the choke level. For some reason it has to be bump started, open the choke lever as soon as it fire sup. After that it starts with a kick start once the engine is warmed up.”

Auctioneers notes: These bikes fold up for easy transport. They are the civilian version of the bikes used by the parachute brigade in WW2 regiments and were dropped in a pod with the soldiers.
