Description:Description from The Vendor: Starting a new Defender 90 project. This very rare Daimler 2 Door Sovereign is one of only 1677 (around 60 left) ever made between 1975-1978. Registered in August 1975 this tax and mot exempt Unicorn is the only white 1975 Sovereign 2 door left registered on UK roads today (according to carlogbook.co.uk) Driven to SWVA, the 2 hours nonstop trip from Surrey was a trouble-free 4.2 litre pleasure. Originally purchased as a non-runner, it was previously dry stored for 5 years so needed re-commissioning. I had a new/recon BW 65 gearbox replacement fitted, new fuel pumps and lines, battery, wiper motor. The triple Weber carburetors were stripped, rebuilt and now run as they should. Chrome period wire wheels with Firestone tyres. Stainless steel exhaust for longevity. Very recent radiator re-core making this the coolest Daimler you’ll ever buy. Triple Weber 45 DCOE all thou not standard are an accepted upgrade in performance and sound. She shows a little over 58,000 miles and whilst it can’t be warranted it can be mot checked with DVLA. A SOLID White body red leather interior, This is a real head-turner. Bills for over £6000 enclose for work carried out in 2020,2021 and 2022.
