Now a very rare sight on British roads with just 353 remaining (with less licensed than the Aston Martin DB6!), the Fiat Barchetta certainly creates attention. Released in 1995 the Barchetta was never a big seller in the UK as it was only available in left hand drive. With its super stylish looks and an 1800cc engine, it was able to power the “little boat” (Barchetta), to a top seep of 125mph.
Originally registered in Switzerland and brought to the UK early in its life this particular example has been laid up off the road for two years by the previous owner who could no longer use it. With the speedo showing only 92000 kilometres (circa 58000 miles), this car is totally standard with no modifications aside from an after-market set of alloy wheels.
Representing excellent value for such a rare car, in garage find condition, these little cars are attracting quite a following today. Perfect fun for the summer ahead this car can only appreciate in value over the coming years.
