Description:Description from The Vendor: This car has come from a deceased estate in the Poole area. This Capri is build number 510 of 1038 made and with only 142 left on the road at the time of writing these cars are a great investment and this one is one of the best.
Auctioneers Notes: This is a cracking example of the rare 280 Brooklands No 510 out of a total built of 1038. Ford Motor Company marketed these cars as “instant classics” and, boy, were they right! Powered by the Cologne V6 2.8i engine, producing 160 BHP and driving through a 5-speed gearbox and they have a limited Slip Diff and to stop her you have ventilated disc brakes up front. Sadly there are no service records, but she has handbooks and other useful literature, including a Gov.UK MOT history and a “Autotrader” registration of vehicle details. All checks carried out were passed. 5 previous owners, the last registered keeper purchased her on 9.10.07. She may be viewed, strictly by appointment. |
