Description:Description from The Vendor: I bought the car recently (an impulse buy) and I am only selling because the reality has now hit and I need something smaller, and more economical as a daily driver. It has service history up to 1991 by which time it had done 72,000 miles out of the total 109,000 it has done Today. The car has had very little use in the last 17 years, however, since I have had it, I have been using her as my main car without issue. In 2020 she had a complete brake overhaul with the discs, pads and calipers all being replaced (Invoice of £1,400 in the history file) The bodywork is very good as is the underneath where I can spot no issues other than a small blister on the base of the doors.
Auctioneer’s notes: This car is a private entry and presents very well. She has particularly nice interior and although we are not warranting the mileage there is a lot of history – see appendix 1 – She was supplied by Hollingdrake Ltd of Stockport and comes with a full book pack. Appendix 1: The service book has 8 stamps last service recorded on 16.7.91 mileage 72879 There is a MOT dated 17.9.96 mileage 107012 The next MOT dated 2.6.04 mileage 108943 The next information comes from MOT.Gov.UK In 2006 mileage 109,027 The next recorded MOT dated 7.11.2020 mileage 109,140 And on 22.9.21 mileage recorded 109,211 and at that time there is an invoice of a complete brake overhaul amounting to £1445.56 dated 28.9.20 mileage 109140. The gap in the MOT’s from 06 – 2020 indicates to us that the car was in store, hence the need of a complete brake overhaul. |
