On the Surface: This 1989 Lancia Delta HF 4WD, adorned in the striking ‘Lancia Martini’ livery is a fantatsic example and is topped off by it’s motorsport-inspired aesthetics. Maintenance & History: Imported into the UK from Italy in March 2013 and stored since it was purchased in September 2013 by Mr. Thornton, this Delta HF 4WD comes with a small amount documentation including the original Lancia Delta User Maintenance book, old MOT’s, importation documents, and the purchase invoice from 2013 when it was bought for £13,995. The Model: Originally unveiled at the 1986 Turin Motor Show the Delta HF 4WD holds a significant place in motorsport. Born out of Lancia’s rallying pedigree, it was a platform used to race in the newly created Group A category with around 5,000 examples needing to be produced to meet homoligation riles. The Delta HF 4WD ended up dominating the 1987 World Rally Championship for Manufacturers. Powered by a 1,995cc twin-cam, eight-valve engine producing 163 hp, it boasts great performance.
