Due to the owner’s age and health issues this MK1 MX5 has been off the road and garaged for over a year having covered only 1500 miles since its previous MOT in March 2017 when he purchased the car.
Dakar limited edition of 400 cars, specification includes, Momo leather steering wheel, PAS, chrome cockpit brace, immobiliser, 15″ x7jj sixteen spoke alloy wheels with locking nuts, electric windows plus poly bushes have been fitted to the suspension. The service record shows 8 stamps for the period commencing March 1997 to October 2004 covering the first 70,000 miles. There are a few miscellaneous invoices for subsequent work and a sticker in the glove box shows that the cambelt was changed 6000 miles ago.
Since purchasing the car the vendor has had a short service including oil and filter changed a new battery, a replacement clutch less than 1000 miles ago and front brake calipers and pads were changed September 2020.
