On the Surface: This 1980 Mercedes-Benz 350 SL stands as a splendid example of the desirable SL marque. Finished in Silver which is complemented by a Navy interior. Noteworthy is the presence of the factory hard top which is currently fitted to the car. History: The car has been under the custodianship of The Vendor for nearly a decade, the car comes accompanied by a Mercedes bookpack which houses the cars documents. Among these are MOT certificates and invoices, spanning back to 1994 when the odometer read 80,514 miles. Though the mileage’s accuracy lacks solid proof, it is believed to be correct. The invoices in total amount to £1,255.28. The Model: Introduced in 1971 the R107 unleashed a new innovative design and safety features. The V8 engines were a new edition and marked a performance orientated shift for the SL-Class. This particular model, a 350 SL, benefits from a 3.5-liter V8 engine which is paired with an automatic gearbox. Together, they generate a formidable 192 BHP, channeling power to the rear wheels which are capable of propelling the car to 127 MPH.
