She is a 1998 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Convertible 40th Anniversary Edition and is one of only 150 RHD versions ever offered by Mercedes worldwide. Fitted with the 322 bhp M119 Engine and 5-speed auto, this is the most sought-after configuration in the entire R129 SL500 range. Exceptional inside and out with a superb soft top and a panoramic glass hardtop and cover with stand. Recent work includes Engine and Gearbox Service plus 16 sparkplugs all work done by Mercedes @70, 985 miles in 2021. All wheels refurbished and polished and as original. Recent set of Bridgestone tyres. Dinitrol treated by ‘Rustproof.me.uk’. Only 3 colours were offered and this example is Deisigno Red. The interior comes with extra soft luxury, grey leather seats.
